This time is for us to get to know each other, ask each other questions and help us decide if we make a good team. Above all of the tools and services I can offer you as a doula, the most important thing is that you feel safe, comfortable and that you can be completely yourselves with me. Birth is one of the most intimate experiences we go through - it’s important that you feel that you want me there before to support you in this.

Once you decide to make me part of your team, here’s what you can expect!

We’re all about holistic support here! Preparing for birth is not just about preparing to birth your baby, it’s also about preparing for your birth into parenthood. Everything changes; our bodies, our minds, our bank account, our relationships, our home, our future plans, etc. I want to support you both as you prepare for all of the life shifts you will face so that you can thrive.

Antenatal Support (up to six sessions, depending on your wants/needs)

• Holistic practical and emotional support for you both. Listening, reflection and support for you without judgement as you prepare for birth and postpartum.

• Reimagining a birth plan by creating birth values and preferences. We don’t just look at what you want for your birth - we look to understand what needs are, how we can meet these, how you want to feel, and how we can support you no matter what happens. We look at communication, informed choice, and advocacy so you can feel trust, empowerment, joy and peace. We look at the many wonderful ways your partner can be involved and empowered.

• Helping you access evidence-based information, support and service, while wholeheartedly supporting your informed choices before, during and after birth.

• Postnatal planning for peace of mind

• Signposting to additional support

  Postpartum Debrief

• Birth debrief: Talk through your birth experience and help you process your feelings

• Practical and emotional support during the visit.

• Signposting to any wanted additional support or services

• Available for questions in the first 4 weeks after birth

• Additional postpartum doula support can be bolted onto package
